The World Health Organization has numerous departments for researching diseases and viruses throughout the world. In addition, The Science Division is made of 3 departments with their own goals to guide them throughout their research and implementation of new discoveries. Furthermore, these three goals consist of "Forward Looking and Prioritized Global Health Research," "Timely and Evidence-Driven Norms and Standards Updated in Real Time," and "Adoption and Scale-up of Innovation and Digital Health." Moreover, these goals set the standards and guidelines that the Science Division will follow when researching a disease or illness. As a result, consistent research and effort will be put in by the division when collaborating. Lastly, the next few paragraphs will explain the standards and practices each goal defines.
For example, the first department represents "Forward Looking and Prioritized Global Health Research." Furthermore, this goal encourages researchers
and scientists to be ahead of the curve when working in the rapidly changing fields of science and technology. As a result, these researchers will be more prepared when handling
newer technological developments and discoveries. Moreover, this also allows researchers to properly assess the public's opinions on healthcare and modern medical practices when making decisions.
Lastly, being ahead of the curve will allow researchers to be more effective when discovering cures and preventing outbreaks of diseases.
The next department of the Science Division represents "Timely and Evidence-Driven Norms and Standards Updated in Real Time." In addition, this goal creates standards and norms
that are consistent throughout the countries being helped by the World Health Organization. Furthermore, these standards are of high quality and must meed the needs of each member state. As a result, each nation
being aided by WHO will receive high quality care for it's suffering population. Moreover, this goal encourages accurate scientific information to be accessible and relevent to everyone. Fortunately, this practice has helped the WHO to counter
misinformation wherever they can. Lastly, this goal also develops and updates the standards of public health alongside ethical and clinical guidance.
The third and final department of the Science Division represents "Adoption and Scale-up of Innovation and Digital Health." In addition, this goal addresses the digital sphere of influence for improving and regulating the health of populations. For example, this group focuses on translating the data, research, and evidence that has been gathered. As a result, the World Health Organization can apply this newly gathered information to positively impact each country being aided by them. Furthermore, this can further help medical staff in providing new and accurate information to the nations people. Moreover, with newer technology being used, the World Health Organization can understand and adapt to a countries needs more effectively.
